Golden Butterfly Bakers is a 501(c)(3)

Your donation may be tax deductible all or in part. We are an all-volunteer organization. Your donation will be used for the ingredients and supplies used to make the baked goods that directly benefit our recipients. We accept donations and giving in various methods. You can opt to give once or on a recurring basis and can choose to make any gift in honor or memory of someone who has helped you build a whole life.

Examples of how Your Donation is Used:

A one-time donation of $100 provides 200 muffins for a week for men and women in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse so they may know they are loved.

A one-time donation of $250 provides bagged and individual cookies for over 500 homeless persons for a week to let them know they are honored, accepted and loved.

A monthly recurring donation of $40 enables us to sustain our donations of cookies, biscuits and muffins to touch the lives of over 10,000 forgotten and marginalized individuals each year

GOLDEN BUTTERFLY BAKERS

Our biweekly trip to Restaurant Depot includes about 2,000 pounds of ingredients used to make about 5,000 cookies, 400 muffins and 800 biscuits each week for distribution to our recipients.

Who we serve

We serve the homeless, marginalized, forgotten and incarcerated. Since Golden Butterfly Bakers came into existence, over 100,000 individuals have received little tastes of home. We distribute our baked goods by partnering with other established non-profit, charitable, 501(c)(3) organizations in the Houston area providing services to the homeless, transitional housing for youth and adults previously homeless or in addiction recovery, other organizations serving those in need, and prisoners seeking a new way of living through the Kairos prison ministry.
